The Orchard and Vine Community Garden will be holding its dedication ceremony on Saturday, September 25th at 12:30pm-3:30pm. Mayor Marilyn Strickland is scheduled speak and plant an herb to dedicate the new garden.
Browns Point Salmon Bake Promises a Northwest Feast
The Browns Point Salmon Bake will celebrate its 64th anniversary this summer the traditional way: with salmon baked on cedar spits on the shores of Commencement Bay.
The “Hogs for Dogs” motorcycle Dice Run will be held on August 28 in Gig Harbor. Enjoy a scenic ride along the shores of Puget Sound. Registration starts at 8:30am; last bike out at 10:00am. Complete your ride back in Gig Harbor while enjoying great food at the Floatation Device great music by “Loose Gravel and Quarry” from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
