Prop. 1 Phone Banking

Please join Tacoma Citizens for Schools for phone banking in support of Proposition 1, the Tacoma Neighborhood School Improvements and Safety Upgrades bond measure, on the ballot February 12th.

Location: IBEW Hall, 3049 S. 36th St. 3rd Floor.

Pierce County Auditor Answers Questions About August Primary

If you have questions about the upcoming primary election, you’re not alone.

Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012 is Election Day. On July 12, 2012, every household will be mailed a Pierce County Official Local Voters’ Pamphlet. On July 20, 2012 the Auditor will mail a primary ballot to all registered voters (military and overseas voters were mailed on June 22). The pamphlet and the ballot always prompt questions.

Pierce County Releases Election Results Schedule

Pierce County Elections officials released the following election results schedule this past week. 

Here is the schedule for reporting results of the Nov. 8, 2011 General Election:

8:15 p.m. Includes ballots processed through Election Day.
9:30 p.m. Voting Center results

Voters Say No To Buses, Schools

Preliminary election results are very bad for Pierce Transit's prop 1, which is failing in every Pierce County district outside of the center-city 27th & 29th.  Peninsula School District's school bond is so far failing to achieve a needed 60% majority, although it has garnered 57% of the vote.

Free Movie & Support Great Schools Kickoff Rally
