Tacoma Philharmonic presents Lisa and Linda of Let Your Music Shine with the Teddy Bears Musical Picnic on Saturday, January 23 at 10:00 am and 11:30am. Introduce children and families to the music of Claude Debussy where the audience will move along to classic “miniatures” of his most famous works. Sing-along favorites as well as playful originals add to the fun.

Join in an acclaimed Northwest tradition and seasonal celebration three decades in the making, as the Celtic family ensemble Magical Strings brings their annual Celtic Yuletide Concert to Tacoma for its 31st straight year on Friday, December 18, at 7:30 p.m., at Urban Grace Church (902 Market St.)!

A children’s concert featuring Dr. Duane Hulbert and Tacoma Youth Symphony, Dr. Paul-Elliott Cobbs, conductor. Program will include Britton’s “The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra,” Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf” for wind quintet, and Khatchaturian’s “Sabre Dance.
