Local retailer United Lamp Supply is giving away free blue lights to place in your window/on your porch to honor Lakewood's fallen officers.

Times are tough right now and not everyone may be able to donate to the officers' families or drive out to Lakewood and pay their respects. Placing a blue light in your window is a simple way to show you care. United Lamp Supply at S 50th and Pacific (across from Stewart Middle School) is giving away one free blue light per customer, while supplies last.

I know where I'll be buying my light bulbs from now on.
