Homeschool students explore science through hands-on experiments and activities. Register early as these classes fill quickly! Ever wonder what it would be like to slide through a hollow log, climb a snag, or venture over a creek on a log crossing? Experience it all as we celebrate the grand opening of the Tacoma Nature Center's new nature-themed play area where adventure and learning happen naturally! Free to all. Grand Opening is Saturday, September 11th from 10am-4pm.

Explore our new Discovery Pond play area with a Nature Guide during this reserved time. Special activities and nature discovery aids will be available. Adult participation is required, but there is no fee for adults.

Fun, child-centered activities and nature poses are combined with time-honored yoga practice to guide children and an adult partner through warm-up, work-out, stregthen, cool down, and relaxation. Adult attendence is required. Participants may bring yoga mats or use those provided. Sponsored by Source Yoga.
