Queen Victoria's Birthday at Fort Nisqually Living History Museum

May 18, 2013 - 11:00am to 5:00pm

Celebrate with re-enactors as they mark the birthday of her majesty, Queen Victoria.  French-Canadian music, a 19th Century Artisan and Garden Market, cannon salutes, musket volleys, games of croquet, and hands-on activities for all ages will fill the day.

Event admission, $5.00-$7.50, 3 and younger free.

On September 11, 2012 the Children's Museum will launch a preschool at its location at 1501 Pacific Avenue, dowtown Tacoma. Inspired by the best in early learning childhood education, the preschool will honor the mission of the museum and celebrate the power of play in the lifelong journey of learning. Serving children ages 3-5 years old and their adults, the preschool will provide a nurturing, creative and on-of-a-kind museum-inspired environment that harnesses the power of play.
